Spring is finally here! With warmer weather and more sunshine, it’s a great time to get creative and DIY some new projects! These are projects we love for Spring and all can be done in a day. We also love projects that are customizeable and each of these are easy to make the size and style work for you. If you’re not sure that you could make these on your own, we’re here to help! We always have mentors in our shop to help you make your project and help you feel like a pro. What will you make?
1. Planter Boxes
Nothing says ‘Spring’ quite like planter boxes! These are perfect for your yard transition from sad winter to bright and colorful with a few fun flowers! While being a deceptively simple project, there are so many ways to customize it to fit your style. Plus then there are so many plants to choose from!
2. Entryway Shelf
One of the easiest ways to spruce up your home is changing up your entryway! This fun and functional shelf is pefect for jackets, dog leashes, mail, and showing off your DIY skills! Change up the color, style, and size to fit your entryway and finally keep everything organized!
3. Phone Stand
Make a unique and helpful phone stand to give you a true hands-free experience! Perfect for when you’re following a recipe, listening to music, charging, or just making sure you remember where you put it! This project is super simple and great for a beginner!
4. Spice Rack
Sometimes Spring cleaning calls for organizing! This spice rack is a great way to have all your spices in one easy-to-use area. Plus, why not display them instead of hiding it in a cupboard? This rack can set on the countertop or mounted on the wall. It can even store items besides spices like paint or make-up!
5. Rustic Wall Shelf
Everyone has that one wall, nook, or cranny that needs something there, but you haven’t found quite the right picture or shelf. Why not make something yourself that you can customize to be just the right size! This rustic wall shelf is a great way to combine function with style by putting a plant or your favorite knick-knacks on it! Plus this project can be done in an afternoon!
6. Pyrography Project
Not wanting to necessarily build a Spring project? Why not try wood burning! Pyrography is “the art of designing with fire” which involves using a heated implement to burn designs on natural materials. Customize a serving board or spruce up another project you’ve made! You can always transfer your designs onto the wood, so no art or design expertise necessary!
7. Rustic Wall Hanging
There is nothing better than finding ways to hang flowers in your home to really feel like Spring is finally here! This rustic wall hanging is a great way to add something new to your walls! This project is super simple yet has big impact so make several to hang for yourself or as a gift for a friend!
