In recent years Van Life or Tiny Home (#VanLife, #TinyLiving) living has become HUGE. It’s the lifestyle movement of reducing your living space to a van, truck, or small portable space. Minimalistic living and being able to explore the outdoors is especially appealing here in the wonderful state of Colorado. With so much to see and do, why be stuck in one place?
Have you thought about making your own full time mobile-house-on-wheels or even just a weekend machine, but then got stuck on the part of actually making it? If your plan is to downsize and have more freedom, why invest in large and expensive tools?
That’s where My Own 2 Hands comes in. We provide monthly memberships to our expansive workshop so you can get started and get moving.
With monthly memberships you can come in anytime. Whether it’s just for an hour or spending the entire day working on your Van Life or Tiny Home, it’s up to you! Investing in a membership lets you invest more into your project since you aren’t having to buy your own tools and equipment. You can focus on building and creating!
With over 6,000 square feet, there is plenty of room to tackle any part of building out a van. From custom fit cabinets to fold-able beds, you’ll be able to work on every part. Unlike in a normal garage, you do not have to move all of your tools around just to cut up a plywood board or get access to a miter saw!
One of the trickiest parts of building out for Van Life or Tiny Home living is having to go back and forth from your project to where your tools are. With our loading bays you can bring your van right up and test fit everything as you’re working on it!
We’ve got everything you need to get started building: from hammers and drills to band saws and drill presses, we’ve got you covered. We keep the tools running in tip-top shape so you don’t have to worry about whether that one tool you need is working or not. Check out all our tools here!
Have the dream to build but still a woodworking novice? No stress. We always have mentors on site to help with tools, problem solving, or even just to make sure you have a second set of eyes!
Working towards building your own (smaller) home doesn’t have to mean buying lots of tools to make it happen. Let us help you get there!
